We are situated at number 2 on Gandhi Street in Valasarawakkam. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads around here, which is nice for a college. This is where we do all the teacher training, so you’ll see a lot of people walking around with lesson plans and notebooks. The building is a simple structure, nothing too flashy. We have a few classrooms and an office where we keep all the student records. Most days involve a lot of lecturing and people sitting in circles discussing how to manage a classroom. There’s a small area where we have our meetings, and it’s usually cluttered with charts and educational posters. We don’t have a big fancy canteen, so people usually just bring their own tiffin or go out to the local shops nearby. The walk from the main road isn't too long, but it can get dusty when the wind picks up. We’ve been operating out of Valasarawakkam for a while, and most of the neighbors know us by now. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names after a few weeks. It’s not a high-pressure environment; it’s just a place where people come to learn the trade of being a teacher. We keep the doors open and the fans going, and we just get through the syllabus one day at a time without any big fuss.
