Liqi Exports & Imports Pvt. Ltd. is found at 18/24 1st Cross Street, just off T. T. K Road in Alwarpet. Even though Alwarpet is known for being a bit more upscale, our office is pretty basic. We are on one of the side streets, which is a relief because the main road is always jammed with cars and buses. The office is a Private Limited company on paper, but in reality, it’s just a few of us working together in a small suite. We have a lot of computers and a printer that occasionally jams when we are in a hurry. Most of our day is spent dealing with the complexities of international trade and making sure we have the right stamps on the right documents. It’s a lot of detail work that isn't very exciting to talk about. We have a small area where we keep samples, and the rest of the space is just for working. We don't have any corporate slogans or polished marketing materials. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been doing this for a while and we know the ropes. There is a small tea shop around the corner where we usually go when things get too stressful. We like the balance of being in a central location like Alwarpet but tucked away on a quieter cross street. It’s a practical, no-nonsense place to run a business.
