Al-Safa International

We’ve been at Al-Safa International for quite some time now, stuck right here in the Industrial Complex over in Nehru Nagar. If you know the 2nd Link Road in Kottivakkam, you know it gets pretty crowded with trucks and people moving things back and forth between numbers 118 and 119. Our space isn't fancy at all. It’s mostly just us dealing with the daily orders and making sure things get where they need to go without too much trouble. Some days the heat in the workshop is a bit much, but we keep the old fans going and just get on with it. We don't really do the whole big corporate thing with suits or long meetings. It’s more about checking the inventory, talking to the drivers, and sorting out whatever paperwork is sitting on the desk from the day before. The neighborhood is mostly other workshops and small units like ours, so there’s always noise from the street. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the industrial area over the years. It’s just how things are here. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time. We know each other's families and what’s going on in the local area. When someone stops by, they usually find us in the middle of something, maybe moving crates or on the phone trying to track a delivery. It's a busy life but it feels right to be part of the local trade here in Kottivakkam.
