Alm Leather Exports

We are located over at No. 55/22. It is a busy little spot and we spend most of our daylight hours here working on the leather goods. Alm Leather Exports has been around for some time now and the place has its own rhythm. Usually, the mornings start with checking what came in and sorting through the different hides. It’s hard work and the smell of leather is pretty much everywhere, but you get used to it after a day or two. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a door and some windows, but inside we are always moving. We mostly focus on the export side of things so there is a lot of packing and labeling going on near the back wall. Sometimes the traffic on the street makes it hard for the trucks to get close, which can be a bit of a headache during the rainy season. We try to keep the tools sharp and the benches clean, though leather work is naturally a bit dusty. Our team is small. We just know what needs to get done and we do it. No big speeches or fancy meetings here, just the sound of the machines and people talking about the day’s tasks. If you happen to be walking by No. 55/22, you will likely see us loading up boxes or just taking a quick breather by the entrance. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We've got some old chairs in the corner where we sit for lunch, and usually, someone brings in tea for everyone around three in the afternoon. It’s just a regular workplace doing its best.
