Aleef Garments Private Limited is tucked away on P.V. Kovil 2nd Street in Royapettah. If you are looking for us, you have to look for New No 45, which used to be Old No 23. It can be a bit confusing for the delivery guys sometimes. We have been in this part of Chennai for a good while now. The building is older, but it stays relatively cool inside because of the way it was built. We mostly work with different kinds of fabrics and clothes. There are sewing machines going for most of the day, and you can hear the hum of them if you stand in the hallway. We have stacks of material everywhere, some waiting to be cut and others already finished and bagged up. It is a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually busy with something. We don't have a flashy showroom or a lobby with a receptionist. It is just the workrooms and a small area where we keep the records. Royapettah is a crowded place, so there is always noise from the street outside, but we are used to it by now. We just get on with the job of making the garments and sending them out to the shops. It is a regular business with regular people working here. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make clothes and try to stay on schedule without any fuss.
