S. R. M. Garments

We are over here at 31 5th Cross Street in Rajiv Ghandhi Nagar. It is in the Alapakkam area of Porur. We have been running S. R. M. Garments from this spot for a while now. Most days it is just us working through the stacks of clothes and making sure everything is in the right place. The street outside can get a bit busy during the mornings when everyone is heading out for the day. We keep the doors open and try to stay organized. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular shop where we handle garments every day. Some people find us easily because of the landmark nearby but others have to call for directions. We usually spend the afternoons checking the new stock that comes in. Dealing with fabric and sizes takes up most of our time. There is always something to fold or move around. The neighbors know us well since we have been in this building for some time. We do not have a big team, just a few of us making sure the work gets done correctly. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes it hard to move things, but we just keep going. It is a steady job. We like being part of the Alapakkam community. There is no big sign or flashing lights here. Just S. R. M. Garments doing what we do every day.
