Southern Springs

We’ve been here at No. 616 on M. K. N Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Alandur and the traffic out front never really stops. Most days we are just keeping up with the work coming through the door. It’s not a fancy office, just a place where we get things done and talk to the people who stop by. Sometimes the fans don't work right and it gets hot, but that's just part of being in this part of town. We spend a lot of time organizing the back room and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We know the tea seller down the street and the guys at the corner shop. It feels like a small community even though it's a big road. People often ask us how long we've been in Alandur and I usually forget the exact year because the days just blend together. There’s always some dust coming in from the road construction nearby. We keep a broom handy but it doesn't help much. If you walk past the main gate, you’ll see our old sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. Just some local folks working hard and trying to stay busy. It's a simple life here on M. K. N Road and we wouldn't have it any other way. The evenings are better when it finally cools down.
