Ajax Fashions

Our place, Ajax Fashions, is situated at 150/59 Kamaraj Avenue on 2nd Street in Adayar. It is a nice enough part of the city with plenty of trees and houses around us. We have been here for a good while now. The space we use is not a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is more of a practical workshop where we do all the cutting and stitching. There are always rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and thread scraps on the floor. It is a bit messy, but that is just because we are always in the middle of a job. We do not have a corporate hierarchy here. It is just a group of us who know how to make clothes. We work mostly by daylight because the windows are large, though we do have lights for the evenings when we have to stay late. The neighbors on 2nd Street are used to us by now. We do not do much advertising at all. Most of our work comes from people who have heard about us through friends or who live in the Adayar area. It is a steady way of life. We do not have a big mission or a glossy brochure. We just come in every morning, have our tea, and get to work on whatever needs finishing. It is honest, simple work in a quiet neighborhood.
