Agamika Agronomy Llp operates out of Thoraipakkam in Chennai. You can find us at Customs Colony, specifically on the second floor of Plot No.18. It’s a small office, Flat F, where we handle the technical side of farming. Agronomy is what we focus on, even though we are based in a city area now. We spend a lot of time looking at how to improve crop yields and soil health for our clients. It’s not just about planting seeds; there’s a lot of science involved that we try to apply practically. Being in Chennai-600096 gives us access to a lot of resources, but our focus is really on the rural fields. The office is usually cluttered with soil samples and maps of different farms. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a dedicated team of us who really care about how food is grown. Sometimes it’s hard to explain to the neighbors in the colony what we are doing with all those bags of dirt. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby for people to wait in. You just walk up to the second floor and we’re there working. It’s a bit cramped but we get the job done. We work with various landowners and farmers to figure out what works best for their specific patch of land. It’s slow work but very rewarding when the results show up in the harvest.
