Vassi Impex Pvt. Ltd. has its office at No. 67 Kamaraj Avenue on Second Street in Adyar. It’s a nice, relatively quiet part of Adyar, which we really appreciate after being in busier parts of the city before. The office is in a building that has been around for quite a few years, and it feels like a very settled place to work. We have a few desks and a small area where we keep all the files for the export orders. Most of our day is spent on the computer or talking to people on the phone about shipping schedules. It isn't a high-pressure environment most of the time, but we do have our busy seasons where everyone is working flat out. We don’t have any fancy corporate slogans hanging on the walls, just some old photos and maybe a map. The Second Street area is mostly residential with some offices mixed in, so it’s a calm place to walk around during lunch. We know the local shopkeepers and often stop for a quick chat. Our team is small, and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we don't need much supervision. We just focus on getting the paperwork right and making sure the deliveries are on time. It’s a simple business model and we like it that way. We’ve been at No. 67 for quite some time now and don't plan on moving anywhere else as long as things keep going.
