Abdus Apparels Private Limited is located at No.5A on 1st Street in Karattangadu. It’s in the Thillai Nagar area of Tiruppur. Being in Tiruppur means we are right in the middle of everything to do with the clothing business in this part of India. We have a small, dedicated team here. Most of us have lived in Coimbatore or the surrounding towns our whole lives. We know the industry well, not because we studied it in some fancy university, but because we grew up watching it happen. Our shop isn't much to look at from the street. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of sewing machines and stacks of finished shirts waiting for pickup. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches or ads for us. We just write down what we need on scraps of paper and get to it. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh while we work to pass the time, but mostly we just focus on the needles. The 1st Street is usually pretty busy with big trucks, so getting our goods loaded up can be a bit of a challenge some mornings. We just make it work because that's what we have to do. It’s what we’ve always done. We’re just a local business trying to do right by our workers and the people who buy from us. There's nothing fancy about it, just hard work every day until we finish our orders.
