Aaradhana Sarees (Opc) Private Limited

If you go over to the City Park in Egattur, you'll eventually find us at the Shenbagapoo Apartment building. We are located in Block B, at Flat No F3. It's honestly a bit of a tight squeeze in here with all the different sarees draped around, but we make it work for us. Aaradhana Sarees (Opc) Private Limited is mostly a one-person show, though I do get some extra help when things get way too busy to handle alone. Living and working in the same apartment complex can be a bit much sometimes, but it really saves a lot of time on the daily commute. Chennai traffic is no joke these days, so I am very happy to avoid it. The sarees take up most of the living room space right now. I have to be extremely careful when I'm drinking my morning tea anywhere near the expensive silk. It’s a pretty quiet life for us here in Egattur. I spend my days checking the weaves and making sure all the colors are exactly right for the orders. Some days are much slower than others, but there’s always something that needs to be folded or packed into a box. I’ve been doing this for quite a while now. It started out very small and just kind of stayed that way. I actually like being able to see every single piece that comes through the door. It feels a lot more personal that way than being in a giant warehouse with thousands of items.
