You can find us over in Block A at BBC Manor. We are up on the second floor, in Flat 14. It’s a bit different because we’re in a building that feels more like an apartment block than a typical store. To get to us, you have to head down Duraiswamy Road and look for the main gate. Some people get a bit confused the first time they visit since it’s tucked away on the second floor. We don't have a big storefront window on the street or anything like that. It’s just a plain door with our name on it. Inside, we’ve tried to make use of the space the best we can. We have racks lined up against the walls and boxes tucked under the tables. It gets a bit cramped when a few people are in at once, but we manage. Most of the time it’s just us sorting through new items or packing things up for delivery. The floor is a bit creaky in one corner, and the lift in the building sometimes has a mind of its own, so many people just use the stairs to get to us. It’s a quiet way to run a business, away from the main road noise. We keep a small kettle in the corner for when we need a break. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and the neighbors are all used to us hauling bags up and down. It's a simple setup and it suits what we do.
