Vandana Architect

I have been running my practice, Vandana Architect, from my home here in Dhakoli for quite a while now. The office is located in Flat No.157 on the fourth floor of B-Block in the Green Valley Apartments. We are pretty close to Pine Homes, so it is easy enough for people to find. Working from a residential flat means it is usually quiet, though the lift in B-Block can be a bit slow some mornings. My desk is usually covered in blueprints and site plans for different local projects. It is not a big corporate space with a fancy lobby or a receptionist. It is just me and my drafting tools getting things done. I mostly handle house plans and small renovations for people in the neighborhood. I grew up around here, so I have a good sense of how buildings are put together in this part of the village. Some days I spend all my time staring at the computer screen, and other days I am out at sites checking on how the walls are coming along. I do not do any big advertising or anything like that. Most of the folks who come to me just heard about the place from a friend or neighbor. It is a straightforward job and I like the practical side of figuring out where things should go. The view from the fourth floor is mostly just other apartment blocks, but it is a decent place to work.
