Vandai Jain Architect

My office is over at Kothi No.266 in Phase 2, Mohali. I’ve been working as Vandai Jain Architect from this location for some time. It's a quiet area mostly, which helps when I need to concentrate on site plans or talk to contractors without too much noise from the street. S.A.S. Nagar has grown so much lately, and being right here in Phase 2 puts me in the middle of a lot of the new building work happening. I don't have a huge staff or a slick reception area. Usually, it's just me and maybe an assistant sorting through drawings. People drop by to talk about their houses or shops, and we sit down and go through the details one by one. I spend a lot of time on the phone or out at sites checking on how the brickwork is coming along. Construction can be a bit of a headache sometimes with delays and materials not showing up, but that is part of the job. I try to keep things straightforward with everyone I work with. There isn't any need for big words or complicated explanations when a simple sketch will do the trick. My desk is usually covered in pens and scraps of paper where I’ve noted down dimensions. It’s a practical way to run things, and it seems to work out okay for the projects I take on around here. I just want things to be solid and functional for my clients who expect clear results.
