Umesh K.Batra Architect

Umesh K.Batra Architect is located on the second floor of S.C.O. 39 in Sector 21-C. It’s a regular office space, nothing too fancy. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the stairs are getting a bit worn down from all the visitors. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of old project folders stacked in the corners. We handle architecture for various types of buildings, from residential houses to some of the shops you see around. The work involves a lot of sitting and staring at screens, but also a lot of talking to people on-site. We don’t use any big marketing slogans here. We just draw the plans and help people get their buildings started. Sometimes the hardest part is just getting the permits sorted out with the city, which we spend a lot of time on. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork. We’ve been part of the Sector 21-C community for many years, so we know how things work around here. People often just walk in because they’ve seen our name on the board outside. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We’re just architects who know how to put a building together on paper and make sure it works in real life. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us going and we like the challenge of a new project.
