The Chef 43 Food Court

We've been at Lodge 43 for a while now. It's up on the first floor in Sector 43. Being so close to the Isbt bus stand, we see a lot of people just passing through Chandigarh. The food court is usually busy around lunch. We handle the cooking and cleaning, keeping things moving for the travelers and locals. It's not a fancy place, just somewhere to grab a meal before your bus or if you live nearby. We focus on getting the food out on time because nobody likes waiting when they have a schedule. There’s a mix of different things to eat, so it works for families too. Some days are noisier than others, especially on weekends. We try to keep the tables clear and the kitchen running steady. People mostly come in because it's convenient and they know where we are. It’s just us doing our thing in Sector 43. The stairs up to the first floor aren't too bad once you get used to them. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the bus stand stays just as hectic as ever. We just keep our heads down and cook. If you're around the Isbt, you might have seen our sign. It's a straightforward setup. We don't do much advertising, mostly just folks walking in from the street or the lodge. It gets a little humid in the summer, but we keep the fans going as much as we can.
