About Sunil Kunj Dewan Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
I have my setup at number 2, in Sector 23-A. It’s a pretty standard spot for an architect to work from. I’ve been practicing here for a good number of years. The office is small but it serves its purpose. I usually start my day early before the phone starts ringing too much. Sector 23-A is a decent area, mostly residential, so I get a lot of locals stopping by to ask about extensions or new builds. I don’t have a flashy portfolio displayed on the walls. Mostly, it’s just racks of blueprints and some project photos pinned up here and there. I prefer working this way, without the pressure of a big corporate environment. It’s just me, my tools, and the projects I’ve taken on. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in being an architect that people don’t see, and most of my time is spent navigating those details. The air conditioning is a bit temperamental, so the windows stay open most of the time. You can hear the birds and the occasional car passing by. It’s a very grounded way to work. I’ve seen many businesses come and go in this sector, but I’ve stayed put at number 2. It’s a reliable location and people know they can find me here if they need something designed. I don’t believe in overcomplicating things. A good plan and a steady hand are what matter most in this line of work. It’s not about being famous, just about doing the job right so the building stays standing.
