Subhash Chander Thukral Architect

This is just a small practice run out of H.No.1004 in Sector 44-B. Subhash Chander Thukral has been doing this for a long time, and the house has become the base for everything we do. It’s a quiet area, which is good when you need to concentrate on complicated structural drawings. We don't have a big sign outside or a glass front office. Most people who come to see us are neighbors or people who heard about us from someone else in the sector. The desks are usually covered in scales, pencils, and old coffee rings. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors and checking on material prices. Architecture around here can be tricky because of the local rules, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything is by the book. It’s not always exciting. Sometimes it’s just hours of checking measurements to make sure the stairs aren't too steep. We appreciate the slow pace of Sector 44-B compared to the busier parts of the city. It lets us focus on the actual building part of the job. We aren't interested in being the most famous architects; we just want the houses we design to stand up straight and keep the rain out. If you walk by, you might see the lights on late because there's always another drawing to finish or a plan to check.
