Singla Food Industry

Our workplace, Singla Food Industry, is over in Mittal Towers within Industrial Area Phase I. It is a busy part of the city where a lot of trucks come and go every single day. We are mostly involved with the processing side of things, so the floors are often covered with crates and packaging materials. Working in an industrial area means there is a lot of dust and noise from the other units nearby. We have been based in Mittal Towers for quite some time now. It is a big building and we occupy our specific section where the machinery stays running. The staff here mostly wears uniforms and we spend a lot of time checking the machines to make sure everything is moving along. It is not a retail shop where people just walk in off the street, but rather a production site. We deal with a lot of bulk orders and loading docks. Sometimes the elevators in the tower are slow, which makes moving the stock a bit of a hassle. We just get on with the job. The commute to Phase I can be a bit of a pain during peak hours, but this is where the industry is. We keep the registers and the logs updated manually for the most part. It is practical work for practical people. We stay focused on the daily output and making sure the facility is kept in working order.
