Shree Ganesh Corner Centre

Shree Ganesh Corner Centre has been standing here in Sector 34 for quite a long time now. We are right in the middle of the main market, so there is always some kind of noise or movement happening outside our door. Being nearby the office of Verka makes it easy for people to find us when they are walking around this part of Chandigarh. Most of the folks who come in are just locals finishing up their shopping or workers taking a small break from their desks. We open up early to get things ready before the market gets too crowded with cars and scooters. The fans hum all day and we just go about our work without much fuss. It is a simple place and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. You can see the cycles parked out front and hear the shopkeepers calling out to each other across the lane. Sometimes the rain makes the market a bit messy, but people still find their way to us. We know many of our neighbors by their first names because they have been passing by here for years. It is just a regular corner shop where we keep things moving. There are no fancy decorations or big lights here. We just stay busy with the daily tasks and wait for the sun to go down so we can head home ourselves. It is a honest day of work in a busy part of the city.
