Shakti Vaishno Dhaba

We've been here in Chandigarh for a while now, right near the Canara Bank. It's just a simple dhaba where we cook regular food every day. People come in when they're hungry for something that tastes like home. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It's just tables, chairs, and the kitchen running from morning till night. My family helps out, and we try to keep the place clean. The menu hasn't changed much because people like what we make. Sometimes it gets really busy during lunch hours, and you might have to wait a bit, but that's how it goes. We do our own shopping for vegetables at the mandi. Nothing comes out of a packet. It’s hard work, standing by the stove all day, but we're used to it. The tea is always hot. If you're around SCO-395, you'll see us there. We don't do anything flashy, just the basic stuff you'd expect from a Vaishno dhaba. Sometimes the music is a bit loud from the radio, but nobody seems to mind. We just want to make sure everyone leaves with a full stomach and doesn't spend too much money. It's a plain spot for a quick meal. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we're still sitting here in the same corner in Sec-37d. We keep the doors open for anyone who needs a warm plate. It’s nothing special, just honest cooking.
