Sanjay Pan Stall

Sanjay Pan Stall is located in Sector 19 at the Sumangalam Co Operative Housing Society, number 2028. It’s a small stall, really more of a kiosk than a full shop. We are right there by the housing society, so we see a lot of the residents every day. It’s a very local spot. We keep the pan leaves fresh and have all the little containers lined up on the counter. Most of the day is spent sitting or standing in a very small space. You get to know everyone’s habits after a while. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It's just a simple stall where people stop for a minute on their way home. The society is usually quiet, but there’s always someone coming or going. We have to keep an eye on the weather because if it rains, we have to pull the covers down quickly. It’s not a fancy job, but it keeps us busy. We handle a lot of small change and talk to the neighbors about the news or the weather. There isn't much to say about our history or mission. We just set up every morning at 2028 and wait for the regulars. It’s a practical little business. We don't need much more than our small counter and the supplies we get every few days. It's just Sanjay Pan Stall, part of the scenery in Sector 19. People find us easily once they get into the society area.
