Located at 278, Sector -40A, this is where Sandhu Ravipreet Singh Architect operates from. It’s a straightforward space without any of the bells and whistles you might see in a big city firm. I share this address with another architect, which sometimes leads to some confusion with the mail, but we manage just fine. The office is filled with the usual stuff: desks, computers, and far too many samples of tiles and wood. I try to keep it organized, but when things get busy, the samples end up all over the floor. I spend my days sketching out ideas and talking to contractors on the phone. It’s not always easy, and there are plenty of days where things don't go according to plan. I don't believe in using fancy words to describe what I do. I just draw buildings and hope they turn out well. The sector is a nice place to work, fairly quiet with some trees outside the window. I usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things from being too silent. People who come to see me are usually looking for someone who will listen to what they need without a lot of fluff. I’m not interested in being the biggest firm around. I just want to keep working on projects that make sense and keep the lights on. It’s a modest way to work, and it suits me.
