Sandhu Gagan Architect

If you’re looking for H.No.1597 in Sec 36D, that’s where you’ll find me. I’ve set up Sandhu Gagan Architect right here in this house. It’s not a formal commercial building, which I think makes it feel a bit more relaxed. I have one room dedicated to all my drawings and the computer, while the rest of the place is just a home. There’s usually a pot of tea on the stove and some papers scattered across the dining table because I tend to work wherever I’m sitting. It’s a quiet neighborhood, which helps when I need to focus on a difficult layout. Sometimes my neighbors pop in to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on their own houses. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy website. Most of my work comes from people talking to each other in the community. I spend a lot of time driving to different sites, so my car is usually full of boots and measuring tapes. The office gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is. I don't try to sound like a big firm. I’m just an architect working out of my home, trying to do a decent job for the people who hire me. It’s a practical setup and it saves on the commute. I like being able to walk to the local market for a break.
