Saint Francis Convent School

Saint Francis Convent School is located on the first floor of building 3223 in Sector 35 D here in Chandigarh. It is a busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement and noise around us. We have been in this spot for a while, teaching the kids who come from nearby areas. The space isn’t like those massive campuses you see on the outskirts; it is more tucked away and vertical. Being on the first floor means we see everything happening on the street below throughout the day. The mornings are usually the loudest when the students arrive for their classes. We try to keep things organized, but schools are naturally a bit chaotic with children around. Our rooms are filled with desks and charts, the usual stuff you would expect. Sometimes the stairs get a bit crowded when the bell rings and classes end, but the kids are used to it. Chandigarh is a planned city, but Sector 35 D still feels very lived-in and active. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone shows up on time. It is a simple way of running things. We do not have fancy lobbies or big statues. It is just a place for learning. The staff here knows most of the families well because we have been at 3223 for so long. It feels like a small community inside this building.
