Ritesh Kumar Singla Architect

You can find me over at Scf-56 in Phase 3B2. I work with The Architects Collaborative. It is a busy spot, and there is always something going on in the office. Being an architect here involves a lot of back-and-forth with clients and contractors. The office isn't exactly a showroom; it is more of a real workspace. There are piles of drawings, samples of tiles, and computer screens everywhere you look. We spend a lot of time debating where a window should go or how to squeeze a staircase into a tight corner. It is a lot of problem-solving. Some days are just meetings that go on for way too long, and other days I finally get to sit down and draw. Phase 3B2 is a good location because it is central, but it means we stay pretty busy most of the week. I try to keep things simple when I talk to people. No point in using big architectural terms if they don't help get the house built. We deal with all the local building codes which can be a real headache, but it is part of the job. I have seen projects go through all sorts of delays because of bad weather or materials not showing up. You just have to deal with it and keep moving. It is not like those TV shows where everything is perfect in thirty minutes. It takes months of grit and checking every detail.
