Raj Pan House

Raj Pan House is tucked away in Sector 10, right at number 10. It’s not a very large space, just enough for the counter and a few stools. We mostly deal in different kinds of pan and some basic tobacco products that people ask for. The evenings are usually our busiest time because folks like to stop by after their dinner for a chew. It’s a social spot more than anything else. You see people standing around outside, talking about their day or the weather. We keep the betel leaves fresh, buying them every couple of days from the market. My father started this place years ago when Sector 10 was still developing. Back then, there weren't many shops around here at all. Now, everything is built up, but we’re still in the same spot. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us, or they just see the small light on in the corner. Sometimes we run out of specific ingredients if the supply is short, but we just explain it to the customers and they usually understand. It’s a simple business. We keep the counter wiped down and the jars filled. There's a lot of routine to it, which is actually quite nice once you get used to it. We don't plan on moving or changing things much. It works for us and the people who visit. We hope to stay right here for a long time.
