Raj Caterers

We have got our spot at Shop Number 118, right across from the Citco Petrol Pump in Sector-9 C. Being in Sector-9 means there is always something going on outside our door. It is a handy location because we are right there when people need to discuss food for their next event. We have been running Raj Caterers for a while now, and the shop is usually filled with the sound of someone chopping vegetables or the clinking of metal plates. We are not big on fancy offices; we keep things simple with some chairs and a desk where we plan out the menus. Most of our days are spent checking on the quality of the produce we get from the local vendors. If the vegetables are not fresh, the food will not taste right, so we are quite picky about that. The petrol pump across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Sometimes we stay late into the night getting things packed for early morning events. It is a lot of coordination, making sure the burners are working and the staff is ready to go. We like being in this part of town because it is central and easy for us to reach different sectors from here. It is a family-run kind of setup, so everyone chips in where they can. It is not always easy, but we enjoy the work and the people we meet.
