Parminder Singh Architect

Parminder Singh Architect is over at SCO 68 on the first floor in Phase III B2. If you know the area, it’s one of those standard commercial blocks where you can find all sorts of businesses. Our office is up the stairs, and it’s a pretty functional space with desks lined up and plenty of room for our drawing boards. We do a lot of work on local residential buildings and some commercial shops too. The atmosphere here is usually quite relaxed, though it gets a bit hectic when we have a big set of drawings due for submission. We aren't into the whole corporate vibe; it’s more of a place where you can come in and talk about your house without feeling like you’re in a boardroom. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different people like the plumbers and the electricians to make sure our plans actually work in real life. Phase III is a good spot to be because it’s easy for contractors to swing by and pick up the latest set of prints. We have some old filing cabinets that have seen better days and a lot of half-empty cups of tea sitting around most of the time. It’s just a regular architectural practice where we put in the hours and try to keep things moving along. We don't make a big fuss about things; we just get the lines on the paper and the projects off the ground.
