House No.2287 in Sector-24-C is where Panwar Ravi Singh Architect is based. It’s a quiet part of the sector, which is actually pretty good for focusing on the work we do. Ravi Singh has been running things from this house for quite a while, and the office is pretty much integrated into the building. You won’t see any big neon signs or glass towers here. It’s just a regular house where some rooms have been turned into workspaces. There are plenty of books on the shelves about building and design, and the desks are usually a mess of rulers and pencils. We don’t have a receptionist to greet you; usually, one of us just hears the door and comes to see who it is. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who come to see us. Sector-24-C is a nice place to be, and we feel like we’re part of the neighborhood. We don’t believe in using fancy language to describe our daily routine. We just wake up, get to our desks, and start working on whatever needs to be done. There are no corporate retreats or mission statements on the wall. It’s just a small group of people doing their best with the projects we have. It’s honest and straightforward. We often sit in the small garden area out front during our lunch break just to get some air and talk about things other than work.
