About Neera Garg Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
I run my practice out of Flat No.5263,B in Sector-38 (West). It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for what I do. Being in a flat means I don’t have a big storefront, so most people find me through word of mouth. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a while, and I like the pace of things here. My day usually starts with checking emails and then spending hours on the drafting board or the computer. There’s always a stack of drawings that need checking and re-checking. I handle a lot of different things, from small renovations to larger residential projects. It’s mostly just me here, though I do have people I call when I need extra hands for a big project. Sector-38 (West) is a good location because it’s central enough but stays quiet. I keep my files organized in old cabinets, and the walls are mostly covered in site photos. Sometimes things get stressful when a site visit reveals a mistake, but that’s just part of being an architect. You learn to fix things on the fly. I don't use a lot of technical jargon when I talk to people. I prefer to explain things in a way that makes sense to someone who isn't in the industry. It’s about being clear and getting the job done without too much fuss. I’ve been here for quite a while now and I don't see that changing anytime soon because the neighbors are friendly and the commute is just a few steps.
