Moti Ram Arya Sr Model School

Sector 27 A is a fairly settled part of the city, and that’s where you’ll find our school. You see a typical Chandigarh layout with wide roads and lots of hedges. This building is a solid structure that has been part of the sector for years. People around here know the name Moti Ram Arya well. A courtyard in the middle is where most of the activity happens throughout the day. In the winters, everyone tries to stand in the sun during the break because the classrooms get a bit chilly. We have a simple playground with some swings and a dusty patch for football. It’s not a professional stadium, but the kids don't seem to mind. The morning starts with the sound of cycles and scooters pulling up to the gate. Our staff has stayed with us for a long time, so everyone knows everyone else’s name. It feels like a big family, even if we have our share of noisy days. The walls are painted a simple color, and we hang up the kids' drawings whenever there is space. Big flashy signs or expensive decorations aren't really our thing. It’s about the books and the lessons at the end of the day. Neighbors are used to the sound of the school bell by now. We just keep things moving along, one day at a time, making sure the children are learning their sums and their history. It's a quiet life here.
