About Manju Gandhi Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
Manju Gandhi Architect is located at House No. 5083/2, right inside the Modern Housing Complex. It’s a pretty quiet spot most days, though you can hear the kids playing outside in the afternoons. The office itself isn't huge. We have a few big tables covered in rolls of paper and old pencils that always seem to need sharpening. Most of the time, the fans are spinning overhead while we try to figure out where a specific set of drawings went. It gets a bit stuffy in the summer, but we usually just open the windows and let the breeze from the complex come through. People sometimes stop by just to ask directions, and we don't mind. We've been here for a while now, so the walls have that slightly faded look from years of sunlight hitting the same spots. The tea lady comes by around four, which is usually the highlight of the day when things get a bit slow. We spend a lot of time staring at computer screens or measuring things out on the floor with tape that never stays sticky enough. It’s just a normal workplace where things get done, even if the filing system is mostly just piles that only we understand. We keep the kettle going for most of the morning. There is always a stray cat or two hanging around the porch of the house, waiting for someone to drop a bit of biscuit. It is just home and work mixed together here.
