I run my architectural practice out of 188, Phase Xi, which is in Sector 65 over in Sas Nagar. It is a decent area, and I have been here long enough to see the buildings go up one by one. My workspace is pretty simple. I have got my table, my computer, and a lot of rolled-up blueprints that seem to take over the corners of the room. I spend a lot of time drawing and then redrawing when things do not fit just right. It is just the way the job goes. People come by to talk about their house plans or how to fix a leaky roof that was built wrong years ago. I listen and try to figure out a way to make it work without it costing a fortune. It is not like those big firms you see on TV. It is just me here, making sure the measurements are right and the paperwork for the city is in order. Sometimes the street gets a bit noisy during the day, but I have gotten used to it. If you are looking for the place, 188 is easy to find in Phase Xi. I like being in Sas Nagar because it feels like home. There is always something to do, whether it is a small renovation or a whole new project. I just keep my head down and get the drawings finished on time for the people who are counting on me to help them build.
