Kanwar Amit Architect

You can find us on the 4th floor of Tower A6 in Gulmohar City. It is over in Derabassi. We have been working out of this spot for a while now. Being in an apartment building makes the office feel a bit more like a home than a cold business place. We spend most of our hours looking at maps and structural plans on our desks. The view from the 4th floor is okay, but we are mostly staring at our screens or drafting boards. It is just an architect’s workspace, nothing more. There is always some tea or coffee around and plenty of paper everywhere. We handle various projects for people in Sas Nagar and the nearby areas. It is not a massive firm with dozens of employees. It is more of a personal setup where we can focus on one project at a time. People come up to Rat No.139 to sit down and discuss their building ideas. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Just some chairs and the work we are currently doing. It is quiet enough up here to get the thinking and drawing done without too many interruptions. Architecture takes a lot of patience and we try to give every drawing the time it deserves. We are usually here from the early morning until late in the evening, just getting through the designs. It is a local Derabassi business and we know the local styles pretty well. That’s about it for us here.
