Guru Nanak Khalsa Sr. Secondary School

Guru Nanak Khalsa Sr. Secondary School is located in Sector 30-B. It’s a familiar landmark for people who live in this part of the city. We have a fairly large campus with several wings for different grades. The building looks its age, which gives it a bit of character compared to the newer, glass-fronted schools you see popping up elsewhere. We have a lot of students, so the hallways are almost never quiet. You can hear the sound of heavy boots during the marches or just the general chatter of teenagers during their breaks. Our staff is a mix of older teachers who have been here for decades and some newer faces trying to figure things out. We don't use much marketing talk because everyone knows who we are already. The daily routine is quite strict with the bells and the assembly. We have a playground that gets used for sports, though the grass is a bit patchy in places. During exams, the whole place goes into a sort of quiet tension that everyone feels. We just try to keep the lights on, the classrooms clean, and the students focused on their studies. It’s a lot of management and paperwork behind the scenes, but the main goal is just finishing the school year and getting the seniors ready to move on.
