Food Plaza

Food Plaza is located right over in Sector 34 Kayakalp, near the National Highway No 8 in Naroda Gidc 110/111. Being so close to the highway means we get all sorts of people stopping in. Some are just passing through on long trips, and others work right here in the Gidc area. It gets pretty dusty and noisy with all the trucks going by, but we don't mind much. We’ve got a good amount of space here, which is nice when the lunch crowd hits all at once. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the demand, but we manage. My family helps out a lot, and we’ve had some of the same staff for years now. We don't do anything too complicated. We just cook the food and put it on the table. Sometimes the floor needs an extra sweep because of the traffic, but that’s just life on the highway. We’ve seen the area change a bit, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s a practical spot for a quick meal. No one comes here for the decor, they come because they're hungry and we’re right here on the road. We just try to keep things moving so everyone can get back to their day. It’s a lot of hours on our feet, but the highway keeps things interesting and there is never a dull moment when the lunch rush starts to pour in from the road.
