Domino'S Pizza

This shop is located in Mohali 26 and it is a pretty straightforward setup for us. Every day we come in and start by checking the inventory and making sure the ovens are heating up properly. It gets very hot near the back where the baking happens, especially during the dinner hours when the orders start piling up on the screen. We have a small area for people to wait and some tables, but it is often just the sound of the timers going off and the boxes being folded. The floor can get a bit slippery with the flour and we are always sweeping it up throughout the shift. Outside, the street is usually busy with bikes and people heading home. We don't have much time for chatting when it is busy, we just focus on the dough and the toppings. Sometimes the phone rings non-stop and it gets a bit loud in here with the vent fans running. It is a regular job with a lot of repetitive movements, stretching the dough and sliding pans into the heat. We keep our uniforms on and just try to stay organized so we don't mix up the orders. It isn't a complicated business, just a lot of fast work in a small kitchen space in the middle of Mohali. We stay open late most nights and the lights from the shop stay bright until we finally lock up for the night and go home ourselves.
