Batra Prashant Architect is based at H.No.3067 in Sector -21-D. It’s a typical setup for a local professional working from home. The office part of the house is usually full of sunlight in the mornings, which makes it a decent place to start the day's work. I spend most of my time looking at blueprints or site photos that people send over. The furniture is a bit of a mix of stuff I’ve picked up over the years, and the bookshelves are sagging under the weight of heavy building code manuals and old design magazines. Dealing with the paperwork for the local authorities takes up more time than I’d like, but it’s part of the job here in Sector -21-D. When I'm back at the house, I'm usually hunched over the computer trying to finish a 3D model. It’s a quiet life, mostly just focusing on the details of whatever house or renovation I’m currently helping with. I don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby, so if you come by, you’ll probably find me with a pen behind my ear and a slightly messy desk. It’s just how I work, focusing on getting the drawings right so the building turns out okay in the end. It takes time, but that is the only way.
