About Bansal Samir Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
At H.No.1311 in Sector 35-B, Bansal Samir Architect is where the drafting happens. It’s a lived-in space where the walls are mostly covered in old plans and sketches that never quite made it to the building stage. Working in Sector 35-B is convenient because everything is close by, but the office itself is where most of the hours get put in. There’s a specific smell of ink and paper that hits you when you walk in. I spend a lot of my time hunched over a drawing board or clicking away at a mouse. It’s not the most glamorous job, especially when you’re trying to figure out plumbing layouts or where a load-bearing beam should go, but it’s what I do. The desk is always cluttered with various rulers, measuring tapes, and half-empty water bottles. Sometimes clients come over and we sit around the small table to look at the latest revisions. It can get a bit cramped if more than two people are visiting at once, but we make it work. Most days are just a mix of answering emails and trying to visualize how a flat piece of paper becomes a real building. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, making sure things are up to code and that the measurements actually add up in real life. Nothing too complicated, just the usual work of a local architect. I keep the door open and just focus on the drawings one by one.
