About Bajwa Mandeep Kaur Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
I've been working as an architect at House No.1107 in Sector -18C for a while now. Most days here start with a lot of coffee and looking over drawings that have been sitting on the desk since the night before. It’s a quiet spot in Chandigarh, which is nice because it lets me focus on the actual drafting without too much noise from the street. The office is basically just a room filled with rolls of paper, pens that always seem to run out of ink, and a computer that hums a bit too loudly sometimes. I spend a lot of time thinking about how to fit everything a client wants into the space they have. It’s not always easy, and sometimes I have to redraw things four or five times before it feels right. People stop by to talk about their houses or just to see how a project is coming along. I don’t really have a big team or anything, just me and the work. My table is usually a mess of scales, pencils, and old site photos. Sector -18C is a good place to be based; the neighbors know me and I know where the best local lunch spots are. It’s a pretty straightforward way of working, honestly. I just try to get the lines straight and make sure the walls will actually stand up where they’re supposed to go. I have seen many changes in the neighborhood but I stay right here.
