Aulakh Lalpreet Architect

Located at 1764 in Phase-3B2, our office is where all the planning happens. It’s a functional space, nothing more and nothing less. We’ve got large tables for spreading out drawings and enough lamps to see what we’re doing when the sun sets. Aulakh Lalpreet Architect is the name we go by. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s fairly calm throughout the day. We have a small porch where we sometimes take breaks to get some air. The interior is mostly filled with rolls of paper and various models we’ve put together over time. It’s not always the neatest place, especially when we’re in the middle of a big project. We use pencils and pens until they’re just stubs. The door makes a little clicking sound when it closes, which we’ve never bothered to fix. It’s just part of the character of the place. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. We’ve been in Phase-3B2 for quite a while now and have seen the shops nearby change hands a few times. Our spot stays the same though. It’s a reliable place to work. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just focus on the lines and the measurements. It’s honest work done in a simple room. It gets hot in the summer, but we have a fan that rattles.
