Nandgopal Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Chandaulisultanpur in Khraujha, right at Prabhu Dayal Singh’s spot. Nandgopal Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically just a group of us who live and farm nearby. We started this because doing everything alone was getting too difficult. Between the cost of fertilizer and finding a truck to take the harvest to town, there was always something going wrong. Now we sit together and try to plan things a bit better. The soil here is decent if you treat it right, but you have to watch the rains. We grow whatever the season allows. Last year was a bit tough with the late monsoon, but we managed. People stop by the office to talk about their wheat or mustard crops. It’s a very informal place. You might find some mud on the floor because someone just came in from the fields. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We just want to make sure the farmers in our little corner of the world get a fair shake. Life here moves at its own pace. Some days are quiet and other days everyone is shouting over the sound of a motor. We deal with the paperwork because we have to, but we’d rather be outside. It’s just how things are for us in Khraujha. We are just people from the local area working the land like we always have.
