Mughalsarai is a busy place, mostly known for the railway station, but life here in Hinauli is a bit different. We started Khaati Kisaan Agrotech Private Limited right here in Chandauli because this is where the actual work happens. The office isn't much to look at, just a regular building where we keep our files and meet people from the nearby villages. Most days, it’s just the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional tractor passing by outside. We don't have a big corporate team with suits; it’s just a few of us who know the local land and what the soil needs around here. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a few hours, so we sit out on the porch and talk to whoever drops by. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers about how to use better tech for their crops. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist greeting you at the door. You just walk in, find a chair, and we get to talking. Chandauli gets really hot in the summer months, and the dust from the roads gets everywhere, including our desks. We spend a good chunk of our mornings just dusting things off before we can even start looking at the paperwork. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just trying to make things a bit more efficient for the folks living around Hinauli and the rest of the district.
