Being located at 1073 in the Paharganj Main Bazar means things are never quiet. If you’ve ever walked through the bazaar, you know how it is—crowds, tourists, and shops selling everything you can think of. Our place is right in the middle of all that action. We handle the export side of things, which mostly involves a lot of packing, checking boxes, and making sure everything is ready to ship out. The space is often full of crates and tape. It can be a bit of a squeeze when a big shipment comes in. We don't have a flashy storefront because we’re mostly focused on getting goods where they need to go. Paharganj has a vibe like nowhere else, and we’re just one small part of it. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting through the narrow streets, so we end up doing a lot of heavy lifting. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We’ve got a small desk tucked in the corner where we do the invoices. It is not a fancy office, but it gets the job done. Most of the people we deal with are looking to send things abroad. We’ve seen all sorts of items come through these doors over the years. It’s a lot of logistics and hoping the weather stays clear for transport. We keep a stash of tea for the workers who come to load the pallets. It’s just how we do things in the market.
