Unicorn Exports

Working at Unicorn Exports usually starts with the sound of the Pusa Road traffic. We are located at G-3 in the Ashoka Chambers building. Rajindera Park is right nearby, so there is always a lot of activity in this part of town. Our office isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to run an export business. There are stacks of files and usually a few sample boxes sitting in the corner waiting to be checked over. Ashoka Chambers is an older building, so it has that solid, lived-in feel to it. You get to know the other people working in the block pretty well over the years. We spend a lot of time on the computer or checking labels. It can get pretty hectic when a big shipment is due to go out, and the small space feels even smaller then. The air conditioning hums in the background most of the afternoon to keep the heat away. Pusa Road is always moving, and sometimes you just stare out at the cars for a minute during a quick tea break. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just a door, some desks, and people who know how to handle the paperwork. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. Most days involve a lot of checking and re-checking lists to make sure nothing was missed before the trucks arrive. It’s just how we do things here every day.
