Diamond Laces & Fabrics Diamond Embroidery Pvt. Ltd. is located on the first floor of Ta-92, right on Street No. 4 in the Tughlakabad Extension. We’re just off the Main Okhla Road, so it’s easy enough to find if you know the area. The street can be a bit narrow and crowded with bikes and delivery carts. That is just how it is around here. Inside, we have our machines and a lot of fabric rolls everywhere. It gets a bit dusty with all the threads and lace we work with every day. We aren't a high-end fashion boutique; we’re a production unit. We spend our hours focused on the embroidery and getting the patterns right on the laces. It’s loud when all the machines are running at once. There are a few of us here who have been working together for a long time. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy job titles. We just get the orders done and make sure the items look like they are supposed to. Tughlakabad is a busy place for textiles, and we fit right in with the other shops and units. Some days the heat in the workshop is a bit much. We keep the fans going and keep working anyway. It’s just a normal, everyday business making fabrics for people who need them. No frills at all. We just focus on the stitching and the thread until the day is over and we head home.
