Bhagwati Jewellers B. B. Zaveri is up on the third floor. We are at No. 2502 on Gurudwara Road. It’s right near the post office in Karol Bagh. It’s quite a climb if the lift isn't working right, which happens sometimes. Being on the third floor keeps us away from the main noise of the market, though you can still hear the horns honking down below. Karol Bagh is a very busy place to have a business. We have been here for a long time now. Our space has several glass counters where we keep the gold and silver. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work. We spend a lot of our morning just dusting the cases and making sure everything looks okay. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us here to help people. People come in looking for wedding jewelry or maybe a small gift for a birthday. We don't use any high-pressure sales tactics. We just show what we have and tell them the price. We keep all our records in big handwritten books. It’s a bit slow but we don't make mistakes that way. The post office nearby is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. We've known the other people in this building for years. It feels like a little community. We just try to provide what people need without any fuss or extra polish.
