8 Jewels

8 Jewels is our small shop located at Shop No. 3 inside the Diamond Mall. You can find the mall on Gurdwara Road in the Karol Bagh area, which is a very busy part of the city. We have a small space here, but it is enough for what we do. Most of our day is spent sitting behind the glass counters and talking to people who come in looking for jewelry. Karol Bagh is always full of shoppers, especially on the weekends, so there is usually a lot of foot traffic outside our door. We are not a big chain store with hundreds of branches. We just have this one spot where we try to keep a good selection of pieces for our customers. The mall can get a bit loud, and sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it is really hot outside, but we are used to it. We spend a lot of time cleaning the displays and making sure everything looks okay under the lights. Some people come in just to browse, while others are looking for something very specific for a wedding or a gift. We do not use any fancy sales tactics or big speeches. We just show people what we have and answer their questions as best as we can. It is a simple job, and we enjoy being part of the local market scene here on Gurdwara Road.
